Solutions limited planned and implemented windows 2000 rollout for House of
parliament in January 2001.
The
Project manager was responsible for overall project plan for Windows 2000
rollout. The project required the Prince 2
Certified, experience of working within a SSL Server and Windows 2000.
Plan and design user migration and Active direc200 rotory,
co-ordinate software application packaging and user support teams. The project
manager led the project management team quite professionally.
For Windows
2000 rollout in Houses of Parliament there were as much as 900 users throughout
parliamentary estate. The project was undertaken through deployment of packages
using SMS distribution servers throughout PCD (Parliamentary Communications
Directorate).The project manager was responsible for SSL server implementation
for HOP and Packaging of Microsoft suite of applications, there were 178
applications in total. The project completed successfully in eight months record
time.
