   VPN Implementation/ GTI 2 Windows 2003 server, the British Council

               

In January 2003, Observer IT Solutions provided project management services for British Council. The project involved implementation of VPN/GTI 2 Windows 2003 server and XP Global rollout. The project manager had knowledge of large scale global rollouts. Project management involved risk management, cost analysis, budget of 4.2M and managed team of 30 within corporate IT for the British Council infrastructure rollout for GT12. Project manager was responsible for SAP Testing and implementation for British Council.

experience of secure server infrastructure ISA Firewall design and implementation was alsao utilised. Remote access using cisco firewall. Designed  infrastructure and implementated solution within project deadline of 12 months.

Project manager  was responsible for the implementation, acceptance and handover of British Council Outsourcing tender project. Co-ordinated the 3rd party resource pools  consultants & support staff to plan and deliver the outsourcing workload against the agreed project milestones.

British Council started a detailed elimination process in order to choose the most appropriate business partner for the purpose of completing the project and meeting the diverse solution requirements in a limited time period. British Council extended a period of six months to Logica CMG for completion of this wide scale project. This project was mainly consisted of the management of relations with providers, infrastructure assessment and counseling services, installation of infrastructure, network instruments and all computer systems, establishment and expansion of onsite system and network services . LCMG exhibited an extremely successful project management in its relations with the partners and providers, and delivered all phases of the project in line with the agreed plan.

A strong infrastructure was used in System Infrastructure Design & Installation project at 12 branches throughout British Council offices. Expanding Services (installation of LAN and WAN active devices and computer systems in Head Offices and in branches), IT Operation outsourcing (LCMG) gives onsite IT operation support for all IT infrastructure and systems established in both Head Offices and branches) solutions were offered in the content of the project.
